New Quilt Project

I took a Half-Square Triangle Class with Katie at Fabric Crush this past weekend. It was so much fun! Here is my design so far (and yes I realize that two of the bottom blocks are messed up--I'll fix it!).

New Year's Card

I never sent out my Christmas Cards this year, so I decided to make New Year's Cards (haven't sent them out yet either). I like them :)

Etsy Shop

So, one of the things that it on my "list" is to sell something I made.  So to that end, I created a shop on etsy today.  So far the only thing that I have listed is my Warhol-esque Pop Art prints.

Handmade Holiday

I decided to either make or buy most of my holiday gifts this year and I feel like I was pretty successful!!  Of course, this also spawned an obsession with Etsy, so my husband may wonder whether this was a good thing :)

After posting about all of the neato calendars out there...I of course had to start making my own.  I did January using photoshop.  Nothing too fancy, but a start.

Christmas Ornaments

So this weekend I made some ornaments out of old sweaters.  This picture is crumby, but they are super cute.  They were lots of fun!  This is going to be a good handmade holiday!

Photoshop Warhols

So, I am making Christmas gifts this year and for some people I took pictures made them into Warhol-esque pieces of art.  I am going to frame them up.  I think that it will make a good gifts :)

Crafty Saturday--Christmas Cards in August!

This Saturday my good friend Tasha came over for some card-making goodness! Our boys went to a football game, so we had plenty of quiet to help the creative juices flow. And a nice pitcher of Sangria to help!

We decided that we would get an early start on Christmas cards. I made a really simple design and finished up about 20 cards.

I also came up with another design, so I might make these next time:

I am inspired by the Handmade Challenge so decided to make some cards to send as a gift to Gess's aunt for her birthday. I am happy with the way they turned out!
